I mean, obviously you are correct, but it's so much easier than that. America can keep it's deplorable health care "system" and all insurance companies would have to do is ... checks notes ... give people the insurance that they've already paid for.
Ever read "Radicalized" by Cory Doctorow?

That's exactly what happens in the story. Amazingly, it took a Canadian to point that very obvious notion out.
Hell yeah Li Yang, dudes rock
Yeah it sure is a conversation ender. Not much you can say to that if they're just gonna stomp their feet whenever you disagree with them about something.
The way that it is done now, yes it's basically a giant scam. However, I saw a documentary recently at the IMAX called Fungi where they demonstrated that certain types of mycelium have been found to grow on / break down plastic, and could (in theory at least) be used to effectively deal with our plastic waste issue. Pretty fascinating actually.
By the way, if you ever have the opportunity to see that film, do it, and get absolutely blazed as shit beforehand you will have a great, great experience.
dudes rock. congrats
No not at all. I tried Minecraft in VR once, thinking that it would be a game changer. It was, just not in the way that I had hoped.
Imagine having the absolute precision of a mouse and keyboard that you've been using your entire life just taken away from you, and then having to rely on tapping on things in a virtual space that aren't even physically there. Then add in so much nausea that you're constantly on the verge of projectile vomiting. In fact, there was a high-speed motorcyle VR racing game that I played for exactly 18 minutes before I ripped off my headset, ran to the bathroom and instantly puked because of the nausea.
That is VR.
It's the same thing as sea-sickness basically. When your eyes are seeing something that does not line up with what your body is physically experiencing, you're gonna have a bad time.
Is that Javier Milei
He sure does struggle with keeping his dick in his pants.
Well we were pretty close in British Columbia. We have had three referendums on the topic, with the first one actually gaining over 50% majority support. However, they made it have to be at 60% in favour to pass, thereby pretty much dooming it to failure (we were only 2.31% shy of that)
The most recent vote we had on it was 2018, where a simply 50% majority was required, and we were only 0.53% away from success
If we do manage to get it someday it would probably mean at least a few terms of NDP/Green supermajority government coalitions, until inevitably new small parties would spring up to take advantage of the new system.
