Do they hit people with the ladder if they don't buy?

The ransomware group has a stupid business plan there. A city govt isn't gonna pay for the data. There's no guarantee all copies would be deleted if they pay, and the govt suffers no real consequences if they just do nothing. If they paid, it would just make them an attractive target for further attacks; you know they aren't going to fix all their security vulnerabilities. And then they tried to auction the data... But they have to actually release it eventually otherwise the ransom is toothless, so potential buyers just have to wait for it to get released for free, which is what happened.

You mean after they drained the land of its life force, killing all the plants, then murdering a bunch of villagers who were upset that they were told lies by Shinra? Yeah, who knew that place would be worse off after they left.

It would be cool if some of the large level designs in some of these games were made more widely available to other developers. They could sell it, doesn't have to be free. Seems like it could be a decent business model.

On other apps, when an image or video is posted I can long press on it to copy a direct link to it. The best I could find in Voyager is to copy a link to the lemmy post or open the post in a browser. This makes it hard for me to share memes with friends who don't use Lemmy. But maybe this feature already exists and I don't know where to find it. I just started using Voyager yesterday.
