I’m another father putting my hand up here for going through the same stuff. Life isn’t like the movies most of the times you don’t have an epiphany moment where it all snaps into place and you turn in to some super hero father. You just go day by day getting through all the shit (god so many diapers) and the pain and the stress and one you realise you’ve all survived and you’re a family.
My wife went through the same feelings of inadequacy because she had to pump too. She couldn’t get the little ratbag to latch. One practical thing that I did was talk up how awesome it was for me that she was pumping because it let me take so feeding times. I told her that by letting me be the parent who’s feeding the baby gave the baby time to bond with me.

Take credit for putting the two together. It’s clever and really rolls of the tongue.

I’m not a nerd! I’ve had sex!! with a girl!!! once…

Isn’t he related to the crack head mayor?

Ear worm? Pink Pony Club - Chappell Roan. Do I like it? No, but I hear on the radio and that damn song is caught in my head for an hour or more. But I guess that’s the definition of an ear worm.

I loved TLOU and was totally involved in the storytelling. I’ve never been so emotionally attached to the characters in a game as I was with Joel and Ellie. The real strength was how the writers used the video game’s abilities to change your POV character to really drag you into the story. Right from the tutorial where you start off as Joel’s daughter and by becoming her at the start the twist at the end of the tutorial really hits harder then you expect because you’ve been her. By the end of the game by playing as both characters you really become invested in their relationship and attached they are which makes the roaring rampage of revenge at the end in the hospital somehow totally expected right up to the shoot out in surgery. I mean I was so invested in the relationship that my hands were shaking and I’m ashamed to admit that I shoot the nurses as well.

Welp, it was nice knowing y’all. With my Balatro addiction going mobile I hope I remember to eat.

He should totally invite Barack & Bill over to the Rose Garden and beat down the White House fax machine, while W wanders around looking for his stapler.

Some of my favourite adaptations of Shakespeare and what they adapted:

Lion King - Hamlet

O - Othello

My Own Private Idaho - One of the Henrys I forget which one

10 Things I hate about You - 12th Night

West Side Story - Romeo and Juliet

And yeah don’t miss out on Ran

Romeo+Juliet is an amazing production. One of my favourites. If you look at the script is one of the most true to Shakespeare’s. And so beautiful.

I really love the way SNW is filling in that transition period where Kirk’s this hard driving, blue flame, academy nerd, who’s out be youngest captain ever, but he’s also deeply head over heals in love with Carol. And how it becomes obvious that when Carol breaks his heart soon he’s going start acting out and pretending he’s some kind of slut during the TOS period. But we all know he’s just crying inside because the love of his life has dumped him.
