I just replayed SOTN a few days ago, game's so sick. I finally realized how much better using two weapons is than using a shield. Chakram + Combat Knife goes hard. Or two Chakrams maybe, I didn't want to grind for two of them but I bet it probably lets you throw more at once.
Yeah I know Shield Rod + Alucard Shield is the most broken shit in the game but I didn't want to do that again

EoE's better (and my favorite anime of all time) but I honestly don't mind 25&26 too much. The content's not the issue for me, more that the episodes are just badly paced, slow and boring, kind of a slog to get through.
Rebuilds are worth watching because they're well-made and entertaining but they're not better than the original. It doesn't have as much of the psychological aspect, it's not full "wow cool robot!" but it's definitely not as deep or interesting as the original. The last movie is by far the best, but the ending itself is kind of bad. And there's a new character that I still don't really understand the purpose of.
