The juice is made by Graze Eatery, a café run by Graze Market. Graze Market buys rejected produce from farmers and transforms them into delicious food in Graze Eatery. You can also buy the produce directly from Graze Market!

  1. I always order my drinks "kurang gula" (been told it's less sugary than kurang manis), and even then it's still sweet as hell. these days I could go with kurang manis and it would actually come out with barely any sugar...

  2. My theory is that sugar price has gone up, and shops are reluctant to use sugar.

  3. I have also noticed that drinks tend to be less concentrated and they taste a bit more bland. Case in point, my air bandung, teh ais, and teh c peng that i had from different places from the past few days all tasted really weak.

  4. Maybe it's just me but food from many places do not taste as "bomb" and there's a lot less MSG and salt. I really like it tho.

Thoughts? have you guys noticed anything different as of late now that some ingredients have gone up in price due to reduction of subsidies?

It's a pretty good nasi lemak overall, and the chicken is juicy. Store located here in Melaka: Nasi Lemak Ejam

Finally, a cheese baked rice that is worth eating!

Very delish. My friend ordered cheese baked spaghetti(it's carbonara inside) and looks damn yummy. I think the next time we go need to share liao because the portion is too much for us who don't eat much.

Ka fei dian 源昌隆's rendang nasi lemak is also quite good(and worth for the price). Wanted to go there initially but we had to change plans because there was a long queue.

I put the steak, seasoned with salt and pepper, in a sous vide bath at 132 for 1.5 hours, seared when done.

Pan sauce used the fond from the steak, 1/2 cup merlot, 3/4 cup beef stock, one shallot, 3 tbsp frozen butter, and a sprig of rosemary. Add chopped shallot to the steak pan, deglaze once translucent with the wine, scraping the fond. When reduced, add beef stock and bring to a simmer. Add butter 1tbs at a time, whisking constantly. When reduced add minced rosemary.

Happy to expand on the recipe on request!
