Meanwhile I, because my parents despised video games, played the sega megadrive until the final days of the Playstation 2.
A console with no save function. I think this may be where my love of roguelikes and old, abandonware games came from (cause I also used to download old, abandoned games; also emulators for the gameboy); also my patience with less than AAA graphics.
