I hate to say this but realpolitik is realpolitik, extremely critical support to Trump
They meant Trump would be worse for them. Libs have never given a single shit about anything else, even as they faked concern about Gaza like they fake concern about the entire Dem platform.
They were clapping for the idea that they would be exterminated after it became apparent her positions on Palestine were hurting her electoral chances.

The idf will continue until hamas hits back, then it's up to the idf to retaliate because hamas broke the ceasefire. I admit that I had hopes that Trump would be a bit different, but he's going balls to the wall and it's scary.
