But to put it briefly, I was just kinda fascinated by the Chinese tech scene. Specifically the smartphone market post-2019 huawei ban. That led me into learning about china infrastructure efforts.

I don't think I'd call myself "pro-china." I'm not "pro-any country." But I think that it's genuinely a pretty neat place I'd like to visit someday.

Even my tech bro workmates recognise that efforts to hold things like DeepSeek and TikTok back are geopolitically motivated
