Its not really 'nothing ever happens' its 'there are no consequences to anything happening'. Yeah, the number went down, but has world order shifted at all yet?

I've been boiling this water for ten minutes and all that's happened are a couple of tiny bubbles that aren't even moving! Nothing ever happens!
