How easy is it to join people's games in PoE? I remember in Diablo 2 people would figure out others' game passwords and then drop in randomly to grief (either stealing quests or killing the other player). Diablo 3 fixed that by having people automatically join your party.
That's not a thing in PoE. At best, you can join the same town he's in randomly, but there's nothing you can do.
You would have to be grouped to join the same instance.
