I loved that entire scene, beginning to end. I had to give it a rewatch after it first ended just to enjoy the pacing of it all again. As pathetic of a character as Cyril is, and as banal and evil as Dedra is, it's amazing how they manage to make you root for them, even if just briefly, against an abusive narcissist. Everybody likes to see a bully get put in their place, and it's just so human to want to see a couple lift each other up and support one another.
