Isn't the existence of Gorons kind of apocalyptic? Rocks aren't renewable, eventually the Goron will consume all mantel level rock and begin descending down into the Earth till they consume all of creation.

Maybe they figured out that those boulders that block paths and hidden grottos reappear when you leave the area and they farm them as a renewable food source
