Modern day Russia is not the USSR. Trump’s not saying anything good
It's still the side that upholds the tradition of the red armies, that paid pensions to old red army soldiers, that upkept memorials to soviet soldiers.
Compare that to what other post-soviet countries like Ukraine have done, tearing it all down and putting up a bunch of tacky Nazi-collaborator bullshit. Russia is still the moral superior to the west.
You don't have to be a liberal. You don't have to be like this. You have a chance to learn the actual sequence of historical events that led to 80% of Nazi deaths being at the hands of the USSR and the millions of people that joined it on the Easter . You could learn about all the attempts Stalin made to join forces with UK and France to tackle the fascism problem.
