Slop posts go in c/slop. Don't post low-hanging fruit here.
You don't have to be a liberal. You don't have to be like this. You have a chance to learn the actual sequence of historical events that led to 80% of Nazi deaths being at the hands of the USSR and the millions of people that joined it on the Easter . You could learn about all the attempts Stalin made to join forces with UK and France to tackle the fascism problem.
Or, you can continue being a BlueAnon redditor.
this is historically illiterate dogwash and you should feel ashamed for having the political understanding of a goldfish as a human adult
Yeah that's why he begged the Western Allies to form an alliance prior to Molotov-Ribbentrop.
The Soviets and Nazis hated each other.
I died, this killed me, you are a murderer
The instance won't be missed
Literally the other way around. The west wanted the USSR and Nazi Germany to be mutually destroyed so it could come in, kill off the communist state and do some picking clean of Germany. What happened was Hitler went west first instead of east, probably not the worst move considering as soon as he hit the USSR the western armies would have likely mobilized and invading western Europe would have been more difficult but it's the not the worst move in a losing strategy kind of thing.
Anyways this is why the US did some lend-lease (not free by the way, USSR paid for that stuff) to attempt to keep the USSR up in the fight longer because they didn't think they were as strong as they ended up being and wanted them to weaken Hitler for them.
Once the USSR started winning bricks started being shat. The US did not invade Normandy France and open up another front because they finally decided they had to get rid of this guy. They did it and pushed to Germany because they didn't want the Soviets liberating all of capitalist Europe. They feared this. Many of those countries would have democratically voted for socialism after the actions of their socialist resistance and because of the way things were going before then.
What does the US do after the war? Show they never hated the Nazis. Install them into prominent positions in NATO, Western German government, etc. Bring them over to the US via paperclip. They launch Gladio, sponsor a military coup in Greece to kill leftists and communists, suppress communist and socialist movements for decades in those countries the US "liberated".
Oh boy. I’m looking forward to seeing the 65 comment thread in response to this.
What a pure wikipedia education does to a mf
He actually picked the side that unfortunately lost. The fascists never lost power in the west.
M-R was after the publication of Mein Kampf. Hitler had been openly saying he planned to murder the soviets - all of them - for years by the time of the pact. Why, do you think, were the Soviets willing to sign it anyway? Why wasn't there an anti-nazi alliance at the time of M-R? Who else signed treaties with the Nazis and in what order? There's some fascinating history in the lead up to WWII but you have to be willing to actually look into it rather than just looking for excuses to trash talk the USSR.
My favorite summary of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact is "Stalin saying 'nice doggie, nice doggie' while reaching for a stick."
you are so fucking wrong that if you had any knowledge of how wrong you were you'd feel such a singularity of embarrassment over this post that you would delete not just this account, but every account you have ever had anywhere
you stupid? You forgot the Spanish Civil War? The previous pacts Europe and Britain did (read the Sudetenland Munich Pact of 1938 and the Polish-German 'peace' pact 1934)
Not to mention, this?

You want to do double genocide theory, don't ya?
I'd call this projection but I'm sure you're too ignorant of the actual history to be guilty of that
holy shit it's amazing a person can be so utterly, pathetically wrong about a subject they obviously know nothing about.
it's like you sought out pure, distilled bullshit. I mean the blackest, gooiest, smelliest, steaming pile of it and just dug in with the biggest spoon you could find
just moaning and rolling around in your own filth, sucking down that shit, rubbing it in your hair
Take your illiterate stupidity back to
already
Imma just leave this here.
Hakim isn't wrong but he has a pretty snooty tone and I always think about how that and his Lenin-face avatar are gonna turn any lib away before he even really gets into his point. I wonder if there's a better video talking about this subject to share with people who are politically misguided and/or unaware.
I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
