the latter, Maxime Bernier's party is full of conspiracy theorists, anti-vaxx, hippies, anti-LGBTQ+ grifters. They were also part of the freedom convoy shit.
The implication is either the liberal party let a nazi into the parliament or the liberal party is already a nazi party and this is just a mask slip
