That's what everyone concentrates on, but the main channel (the German one) was funded by the Federal government of Germany until earlier this year (they quit the contract because public broadcasting rules banned them from advertising merch lol)

Their HQ is in München, by far the most gentrified city in the country, with rents up to triple that of other areas.
Really, I thought Frankfurt or Berlin might be more gentrified?
They're pretty bad too, but München takes the cake.
