Confession: Pbr's resurgence might be my fault. I got a taste for it in the late 90s when I was a poor sailor and it was all I could afford. In the early 2000s I asked my hole in the wall hang out to carry it for me and they started pushing it during happy hour because of the low overhead. Thing is, this hole in the wall was the local hospitality bar hangout for pretty much all of orlando/central florida. It got really popular with the local bartenders and within a year it was fucking everywhere. Hoping it was a coincidence though.๐ค๐
I'm still convinced that PBR's resurgence is actually due to the only alternatives being Old Style and Busch.
wild guess, but BBQ bar? that was where i used to go in the early 2000s because i could wear what i slept in + slides, be incomprehensibly stoned, and still be among the more presentable types, drawing weird shit on the walls in sharpee.
