Well given this is what classic Lara Croft looks like maybe the issue is that she's not pointy enough.
Now that's what I'm talkin about
If classic Lara came out today gamers would be pissed because her design was based off Neneh Cherry and black woman bad.
That's an impressive piece of trivia. The appearance of the character that travels around the world stealing antiquities from burial grounds was created by lightening up the skin tone of a Black woman? It's like an appropriation gobstopper.
Toby Gard originally wanted Lara to be named Lara Cruz and be a latam mercenary but then it changed to her being more like Indiana Jones.
