I like how the Rebels show introduces the Imperial March in a major key as a diegetic piece of music in the Empire's propaganda (it comes back in Solo, too).

I hate the prequels as movies but I really like the presentation of how their galactic society collapses. It's one of the clearest examples in media showing how liberal democracy neatly folds into becoming fascism using all the tools of liberal democracy itself. Lucas isn't a great moviemaker, and also he's sometimes a weird pervert, but I think he understands what liberalism is and what it does.
