Is !science_memes@mander.xyz just bad science now? This is the second bad science post I've seen on this community this day.

[-] WeirdGoesPro@lemmy.dbzer0.com 42 points 8 months ago

I think obvious pseudoscience is appropriate for this community. Maybe in some instances an /s is required, but in this case, I would be very surprised if anybody was misinformed to believe that T-Rex’s could use a shovel from this meme.

And if they were, I’m not sure the /s would have helped.

[-] lugal@sopuli.xyz 18 points 8 months ago

Well the shovel is obviously metaphorical and not all dinosaurs did the same amount of digging. Each according to their ability.

Dig your foreclaws to the bone and what do you get?

[-] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 3 points 8 months ago

You might get a pizza party if you meet the quarterly quota, but either way, The fruit will fall to someone else's hand

[-] fossilesque@mander.xyz 15 points 8 months ago

I'll make sure to add an /s to the title.

Now I’m confused by putting /s on an obvious joke. Does that mean it’s not a joke? Like it’s an opposite joke about how the dinosaurs really did this?

Please clarify OP

You can bury bones but you can’t bury the scientific mind
