don't know why I subjected myself to the comments but it's literally just capital-g Gamers doing the "angry npc plugging in a new chip" meme
I know better than to consider them brainwashed, but they really are just unthinking sheeple.
It's amazing, and something to figure out, how so many people switch narratives and talking points so smoothly on a dime. People are really that responsive to media?
