My man was grappling to understand with the Eldritch Abomination that is capitalism while also being an exiled scholar, I think under those circumstances it is physically impossible for ones room to be clean lmao

Also the entire time he was writing the Grundrisse he was convinced he was going to die in a imminent revolutionary uprising
