do republicans ever ask why solid red states like Louisiana rank so highly in things like child poverty or are they such hardened ideologues that they're just going to do what clearly isn't working? or do they think that keeping minimum wage to $2/hour is somehow going to help people?
Also, poor kids are more willing to join the military because they sell it as a way to escape the drudgery
And guess what else those states have? Poor education systems, which make for more low-income workers. And also health care! Once you’re at retirement, you’re no good to the system - in fact, you’re a drain!

Military recruiters are fucking idiots and honestly not the arbiter of who get in or not, all they do is try to get people interested and to processing to see if they can actually join or not
