In a way it's the perfect game for our time. No artistic direction or passion, just an endless stream of pop culture being sold and resold to wring every cent possible from each IP.

Related question since I've played fortnite maybe once, but have they had a chance to double back on themselves and start selling cosmetics from earlier years and "vintage" or "throwbacks"? Like selling default skins that are no longer available, stuff like that.
