Since there was no internet, nobody could call or text me, which I really enjoyed.
You have to enter from China or Russia, air or rail, but as far as I know you can very much just go there as long as you're not a citizen of the US or Puppet Korea.
Actually apparently that won't be a problem as I've read the DPRK very specifically don't stamp your passport to avoid even non-Americans from visiting the US
