I was walking my dog down the beach and I looked back and when times were really tough there was only one set of foot prints so I asked my dog "why did you abandon me when times were hard?" and my dog said "look again and you will see that in the darkest times I was carrying you"
in this story, why does the dog never say "we walked in single file and stepped in each other's footsteps, to hide our numbers"?
