MODERATORS
The people in the campaign staff and WH staff are all so far removed from normal people and normal competency that this is where we are. This is also, for example, why the White House keeps asking China to do stuff that doesn't benefit China, and it's why they're staggered every time China says no.
"We're putting a moratorium on doing any space science with you, we will never cooperate."
"Ok, we'll make our own space station then. By the way, we just brought back some moon rocks from our moon return mission."
"Oh cool! Please share them with us. We're not making an exception to the moratorium and will not share whatever we learn with you. Fuck you."
