The genocidal octogenarian

I mentioned this on a previous thread but I still find turning San Fransisco into a Potemkin village to impress the general secretary of the communist party of China to be peak satire

Artist depiction of hamas

There were many eloquent responses to DSA’s all-but-explicit endorsement of Hamas’s horrifying atrocities... But the one I’d like to highlight is from comedian, writer, and actor Sarah Silverman

Of course you would. What a fucking dork

The US Navy doesn't have the personnel to staff the ships it has anyway. Most USN ships are severely under-crewed

Bringing back orange terror alerts. Something might happen somewhere. Be afraid!

Dating apps don't want people to form relationships for the same reason pharmaceutical companies don't want to cure diseases. They just want a temporary, hopefully addictive, treatment for loneliness not a remedy

Do you guys compare more recent tragedies to some past event to try to gauge the level of atrocity? When 9/11 happened did people in the UK say this is 6 times worse than the troubles or some shit? Or is that just an American thing?

A group of soldiers kick in your door one night and slaughter your family. Good news though, they won't kill you, you just have to starve to death in the garage while they move a new family into what used to be your home and they will kill you if you complain. Now, on the day you decide to say fuck it since you're gonna die anyway you might as well pick up a hammer and get some payback, do you really care that their daughter just wanted to dance and sometimes felt bad for you?

HR people are incredibly useful. They're the first line of defense in protecting the company from litigation. Their worth to you is entirely dependent on whether or not you own a company

Most fans of anything are normal people, but if you have a million fans and even .1% are weirdos that's 1000 people. If you're friend is hurt, maybe dying and you know 1000 people are going to do something invasive or creepy to find out why you might get a little defensive. I thought she was fine under the circumstances.

Fuck you too GiantFloppyCock, happy to have you here
