Talked a lot but didn’t say anything same-as-it-ever-was

That fucking “This is an investment in our children” line did make me wish great misfortunes upon everyone in the executive branch for the rest of their lives, it feels like I’m being told that my pet rat who got torn apart by hawks in front of my own two eyes went to a nice farm in the upcountry

Went to the campus No Kings protest but now I lowkey feel like a traitor for having a surprisingly pleasant prolonged convo with a relatively class-conscious socdem campus/town (forgot which) cop who was stationed next to us lmao

Can’t believe it’s been a decade since Citations Needed started, yall probably feel old but I was too busy playing club penguin and super mario 3d world at the time to know what a politics or podcast was. I wish none of us had to learn what a podcast was but god doesn’t give with two hands

He lived to the point where hundreds of thousands of people in the most deeply propagandized country in the world are organized enough to go on strike together stand against domestic repression unseen since at least the Nixon era, if not earlier. He made it long enough for people even here to develop class solidarity en masse, organized largely by socialist organizations with plenty of members radicalized by his works. Call me overly bloomerist if you want, but I think he left a legacy he could be proud of fidel-salute-big

Dreamt that i was a character in an movie set in the early 80s where a bunch of partygoers got fooled into going to some party hall in some southeastern/eastern Asian City before we got locked inside and forced to play some game where some floorboards plunged you into an abyss and others built little walls, we then learned that it was originally believed to have been set up by a kindly (but distrusted to the point of being blamed for serial killings due to his head being deformed) old dude from chicago who ran a video game store, from that point it showed me what the store is like now, including a prototype switch 2 demo cabinet that got snuck out from China with an as of yet unreleased update for Mario Kart WT with better graphics, it also had a bootleg snes nearby that played a prototype sequel to super mario kart including a haunted house themed track that included a really narrow winding shortcut that I managed to cross (though it was apparently meant as a allegory for “the long road it takes to make it to Israel”??? First a shoutout from Elvis in an earlier dream and now this why are there two separate occurrences of unexpected anachronistic 20s style zionism in my dreams?) every lap sent you to a brief interlude on a super mario bros 3 map type menu, each of which had you watching a tape showcasing the decline of television through the 1980s, culminating in tv's bottom point as a creative medium being a telethon hosted by tenna and spamton where whichever charity got the most money donated got the rest of the donated money to the other charities??? Winner was st judes btw

RED ALERT:

The dawning of either the Kamala Era or the resumption of the Trump Era brings closure to Jokerified Snufkin's role as my pfp on every site.

Whether the next era jolts the Amerikkkan left out of its post-Bernie slump or not is yet to be known- but its arrival is great for Snufkin here, who's already seen enough over the past half of a decade. I sent him off with 70 million reminbi and a ticket to head back to Naantali.

I'm probably gonna tuck him in my banner now in some form or another. He's not dead, this isn't a funeral, all this post serves as is a celebration of his long service.

In his stead, I have appointed This Girl from Psychopomp (its completely free and takes like about an hour to play through, highly recommend):

Her ascension to pfp is effective by midnight EDT. Wish her luck.

Remember when Kamala talked abt how america was finally not at war anymore at the debates (which in itself was bullshit too but all of its direct combat involvement left was low profile for people to care about)

that’s on track to last long isn’t it

25

Ironically has nothing to do with actual psychopomps. Free on steam and itchio btw

(may use the mc as an interim pfp sometime. jokerified snufkin served me well for half a decade but im not sure if he can take any more- may be time for him to take a nice vacation in naantali)

She just died? Wow. I didn’t know that. You’re telling me now for the first time. She led an amazing life. What else can you say? She was an amazing woman. Whether you agreed or not, she was an amazing woman who led an amazing life. I’m actually saddened to hear that. I am saddened to hear that. Thank you very much.
