Your particular comment claims that all Palestinian, Iranian (and in general Arabian) lives are terrorists which is immensely wrong and a Zionistic view. Secondly, what do you consider a terrorist? Because if we look how Israel as a state was made and what atrocities they’ve done since 1948 up until 2024 (ongoing). We could very well consider Israel a terroristic state.

Now about the pagers that have been purposefully exploded by the Israeli state (government). It’s widely known that also innocent people (non-Hezbollah) have been wounded and murdered because of Israel’s terroristic action;

If you want to kill one another, go ahead. But what Israel (government) has done is (once again) a terroristic action. They murdered innocent people along the way without remorse. The pagers went off in cars, shops and such.

I honestly see no reason to use Reddit for its Piracy Megathread. Lemmy’s user base is much more friendly, helpful and the Megathread here is the same (if not better) organized than there.

Not only that, I remember there was quite some problems among the mods on Reddit. So I’m not surprised something like this happened. Once there’s a slight fracture, it’ll slowly but steadily get broken into pieces entirely.

I don’t see much decent content on both Piracy and PiratedGames subreddit anyway. Majority is memes, ‘is this safe’ and spam posts about empress.

The world has going immensely nuts;

• Genocide seems okay by most of the presidents.
• Calling for justice is a hate crime and gets you arrested.
• Racism and Fascism on the rise.
• Raping a 12 year old person seems to be okay, doesn’t get you labeled as a pedophile.
• Calling out that Zionism is in fact bad gets you the “antisemitic” name.
• Quoting Hitler seems to be okay
• Saying that you want to erase and nuke a whole group/race seems to be okay.

I’m seriously worried for the future.

Netanyahu never intended to stop the genocide/ war on Gaza, he made that clear:

1. Netanyahu tells Blinken he will not end war on Hamas in Gaza as part of hostage deal.
2. Netanyahu vows to invade Rafah ‘with or without a deal’ as cease-fire talks with Hamas continue.

Why would Hamas even accept the ''deal'' if Israel anyway will invade Rafah that has all the innocent Palestinian civillians?

They also shut down AlJezeera news and Israel claims they are the ''only democracy in the Middle East'': Israel orders Al Jazeera to shut down as Netanyahu rejects peace talks.

Call me pessimistic, but I do think:

• Privacy is an illusion.
• Control is an illusion (a reference to Mr. Robot).

Certainly, we can do a lot to have more privacy, but it is an illusion to think that we have complete control over it. Especially with social media, jobs, and today's technology.

The IDF, US and other Zionists will claim it was out of self-defense.

When are other countries going to step up and do something about this horrifying genocide.

Was no surprise that other platforms would follow Netflix with not allowing sharing passwords.

What does surprise me is that people actually pay their own subscription for these platforms. Netflix had a win in profit/revenue. I’m surprised that these people did not go for the Piracy method even though, they complain about:

• Price increases
• Not allowed to share password/ account
• Content not available on said platform and having to go to others platforms
• Cancellation of shows after one or two seasons

I’m honestly surprised and shocked that Nazism is rising up again. It is a scary idea that, that ideology is growing bit by bit.

Honestly don’t think you can find any neutral news about it. I recommend use multiple news places to get the overall view (that’s what I do).

I feel like every news-publisher is leaning to one or the other.

Switched yesterday and so far, really liking it. Might even say, it’s better than Reddit at the moment already.

No heavy echo-chamber/ toxicity (yet). Just waiting that it becomes more active with more communities.
