I delay them by at least two seconds to avoid reading stuff ahead of time and to look at them after realising I missed something.

How fair use does apply in that case? To me it seems a question of legally acquiring or not what you intend to use fairly.

I'm sure that something can still be grown in the shade of the solar panels, shade houses are a thing after all.

I can't see my any posts or comments previous to this account getting one year old. Either from the app or the web.

Another weird thing is that I can only see comments on to my new posts in the inbox, if I browse into the post I can only see my replies, as replies to nothing if I use voyager app, through the web I the comments section is empty even though it says there's comments.

PD: right now it says there are three comments here, but I can't see them. I replied to one of them, so there's one the haven't reached my inbox.

Edit: When I look into the comments sections, half of the comments are missing.

Update: it turns out that I managed to deselect all languages except undefined. That hid all my activity and a lot more stuff I did not notice.

My profile is now empty, I can't see any of my posts, comments, messages or anything. It's like I managed to block myself. From my account on .world I still can see my profile here.

edit: the inbox is ok, that one was on me, I didn't notice the unread toggle, but the other one it's still empty, there's only this post and a comment I did yesterday to test.

Is this expected behaviour? Is this a setting I touched?
I think it could be a neat feature to turn on or off with a button, but not as default.

Does that really work? I get the impression that people would go pee on that wall just to see it bounce.

Here's my conundrum, I'm using an old PC to watch movies and shows. It works well enough using the regular file browser and video player but it is not powerful enough to run jellyfin as server and client.

I guess that what I'm looking for is a pretty browser.

I tried searching for media library managers, most results were for configuring jellyfin so when I excluded the word server all the results where music managers and dvd collection catalogues.

I only use app from f-droid on lineage and I don't have a google account anymore, if that stops being an option I guess I'll use an old dumb phone and fuck all.

There are these 3 books about dressmaking that are very out of print.

In English it took me 2 minutes to find them, but in Spanish there's not a trace and I know for sure that for at least the first two there are PDFs floating around somewhere.

All this made me realise that when I'm looking stuff in Spanish I don't have any idea on where to look.

Edit: Thanks, I learned a lot. Unfortunately that book I'm looking for is nowhere, at least in Spanish. But not all is lost, apparently there's a public library at a 30 minutes drive from home that has it, I could go borrow it and scan it myself.

I don't mean the file transfer mode, I mean to share the contents of a single folder and it to show up as an usb stick. For example, to only share what's in the music folder and let a mp3 player read what's in there.

Everything except metric

I've been browsing communities just to see what's there and it seemed weird to only be able to sort them algorithmically.

And a bumper sticker to forget about speed cameras.

[-] quediuspayu@lemmy.dbzer0.com 41 points 7 months ago

Now I want a rubber stamp with that to prevent whatever from being scanned.

Spaniard here. The employer, if you are self employed this doesn't apply.

[-] quediuspayu@lemmy.dbzer0.com 46 points 8 months ago

In Spanish we call them "malas hierbas"

Is there a search parameter to get a list of communities?

Dragon Ball, second episode. They removed the part when Goku removes Bulma's panties, affecting the events of the third episode.

In this case the uncensored version is much crazier.
