Everyone who has watched it has loved it but my hate is pure I'm afraid

At this point I doubt anyone could gather anything that would constitute hard evidence which is unfortunate.

I hate Riot Games and League of Legends so I haven't watched it.

Correction. Lockheed Martin enshittified the F-35. AI was only the excuse that aligned with the financial incentives of them and their contractors.

Would be extremely funny if they issue an arrest warrant against Adani though I doubt it will come to that. Any attempt to discredit Adani is seen by sanghis as an attempt to subvert India's sovreignty and "development".

I can't be of much help because I've never used it. But the emulator's website says zip files should work:

Currently, Vita3K supports .pkg, NoNpDrm, FAGDec, or manually decrypted games (Vitamin dumps are not supported and Maidump is unstable). The games should be in a .zip or .vpk format if you want to install them from the emulator, or if you prefer to copy them yourself, you can drag and drop the game folder in your pref_path/ux0/app folder (not applicable for NoNpDrm dumps/.pkg files).

https://vita3k.org/quickstart.html

Edit: also where did you yoink the rom from? And what are the contents of the zip file?

I casually began looking into 3d sculpting a while ago and ended up listening something a pro artist said on this topic. This was him comparing zbrush and blender, mind you, so he wasn't talking about the medium in general. But he said that while there are some areas where zbrush might be better, blender is at the least perfectly adequate. Biggest advantage of blender is that by virtue of it being free it has the most community resources (tutorials, documentation, forums, etc.). Moreover, the fundamentals of sculpting translate between different software. So he highly recommended blender for newcomers between the two.

It also seemed like you really need something like a graphic tablet if you wanna do it somewhat seriously.

Are you asking this from the point a tourist? Or generally in terms of the direction the country is headed in?

If you wanna travel then I don't good advice but Kerala and the Himalayas are very beautiful, though the latter spills over to Nepal.

For the other question I would say the outlook id overall pessimistic.

Want to prepare myself for the next game I play. I really like the idea of maxing as many social links as I can. There are guides for this but I like to navigate these waters on my own.

Between doing the story dungeons, cultivating stats and advancing social links, is there a general advice on how to go about it?

For example, one thing I get really anxious about is trying to complete a dungeon if it is available in one day, since in the games I have seen it takes up both the day and evening activity slots.

Any advice for this? Thanks.

Anyone tried it? Thoughts?

spoilerLooks like it is gonna be your typical Persona type game with element based turn based combat and social links. Don't mind that though. Always welcome fresh Persona slop.

There are some mechanic changes which seem nice.

The game kinda turns the concept of fantasy around where the protag holds dear a fantasy book, but the fantasy is essentially a story of our (human) world. And the powerful boss monsters in the game are called humans. Personally I don't like this. I find it a bit immersion breaking. But maybe it will grow on me.

And yeah the performance on my laptop feels a bit lacking. Only a gtx 1650 and i5 processor but the game cannot consistently maintain 60 on low or intermediate graphics. I will try it on PS5 later and see if it runs well.

I downloaded it a few days ago. My first impression is good so far. I don't like strategy games because of monke brain but with this one I've been having fun.

The battle system is novel as far as I know. At first I was a bit disappointed that you don't get to control individual characters but I've grown to like the system since then. I am playing on "tactical" difficulty and I retried the first battle three times to get it "right".

It has the usual JRPG (a little bit nauseating) pro-monarchy premise which TBH I don't mind in fantasy settings, but it feels tired and uncreative. But I have been able to look past that because the rest of the game is fine. The animations look really nice without needing much sophistication. The English voice acting was a bit cringe so I switched to the Japanese one.

I don't know if the game will be able to grab me till the end (unlikely because of commitment issues) but it is a nice surprise to be sure.

Question about Ryujinx LDN. Would it let me summon help in MGHU from anywhere in the world similar to how the game normally is? Or is it for playing with people on your local network only?

CW: I talk about sexual harrasment and paedo-adjacent content of the game.

In the past I have played Persona 5 and Persona 3 Reload. I am currently playing Persona 5 Golden. I feel this game would be better off if the main characters were college students of college age rather than high school students without having to change the basic formula of the game much.

Reasons why I think so:

  • College-aged people struggle with self-discovery just as much as high school students.
  • Can still play as a mute pussy magnet.
  • The central premise of playing as a transfer student attending an educational institution can remain intact.
  • Clubs and sports still exist for social link inserts.
  • Persona games often deal with mature themes, which college age students can understand and process better than high school students.
  • Rampant sexual harrasment against the female characters is slightly less detestable because it is now being done to people of legal age rather than 16-17 year old children.
  • Can preserve the premise of the Heirophant arcana, where you live under the care of a non-parent guardian.
  • Several cases of exceptional students become easier to digest. For example, the police being assisted by ace detectives aged 20-22 is more believable than by ace detectives aged 16-18 (Naoto and Akechi)

Cons:

  • I don't know how the classroom sequence would work since colleges have a wider variety of classes with more agency for the students. Perhaps the MC could be the joker because there is a certain discipline like physchology that they are very well versed in and that is hardcoded in.
  • Less appeal to paedophiles.

In general I don't know if I have the confidence to suggest that college students are that much more mature than high school students. For me personally I felt I growed the most after college. But age is definitely a factor and for some people a few years can make a lot of difference.

Nageswaran’s remark came after Reserve Bank of India data showed that net FDI inflow into India dropped by 62.17 percent year-on-year to $10.58 billion in 2023-24, a 17-year-low. Simply put, India’s ability to attract foreign investment has come under challenge amid a combination of adverse circumstances — global economic uncertainty, trade protectionism and geopolitical risks, etc.

It took the fascist clown in the BJP government two complete terms to find out that being a running dog for an imperialist hegemon is a dead end. Unfortunately, they will never realise the second key ingredient in not being a failing economy, which is giving up on rapacious neoliberalism and investing in basic public services like education and health. This is on account of the fact that BJP is a front for big corporations and exists for and because of them.

I don't know how this desperation for Chinese FDI will end up. India has struggled with high tech manufacturing a lot. The iPhone factories here have low productivity. Even, the pharma industry, which has historically been reliable and something that many countries and just India have benefited from, is not killing unsuspecting consumers in Africa. BJP's "Make in India" scheme has been a failure. As such it feels like they are moving to China only because they are running out of Western investment to squander.

This is good for China though so there is that.
