Apparently Elon edited whatever prompt his AI Grok uses to specifically address "white genocide" and the song Kill the Boers, so it now brings them up in random unrelated requests
Elon is like drinking a hot can of soda on a summer afternoon. He's like finding out that sound the car is making is very expensive to fix. He's like noticing a weird smell that won't go away until you find the putrefying mice dead in the ductwork.
It's like when you're a kid and you're standing in a circle talking and that one kid nobody likes is there and he says something and just dead-airs it. Ice cold reception. Suddenly everyone notices he's there. The mood shatters. All because some oaf had to shoulder into your conversation to blather about South African Boers.
Just who in the fuck looks forward to interacting with this man. His black hole of charisma. Dealing with his attempts at humor. Now here he is being serious instead but in a bumbling oafish way. What a surprise. With all the predictability of a 3 panel newspaper comic strip. Elon, like the dim-witted international step-nephew he is, doing a fumble.
He's like the teenager who planned a school shooting but got caught because he kept dropping melodramatic one-liners to the kids on the playground and weirding them out.

Starting about 5 hours ago, Grok started saying that mentions of "white genocide" and "kill the boer" was due to a glitch.

It's doing a pretty good job of mass propagating to people that white genocide is a lie that lacks any evidence which is the exact opposite of what 
wants
Now I'm just imagining voight-kampff tests where you know you're talking to a replicant if it starts talking about "kill the boer" or South Africa out of nowhere

They're DESPERATE to get the AI to give right-wing answers only, without retraining it, just through prompt modifications.
Yes this is a great demonstration of how the underlying code is not human-editable, it's all incomprehensible weights, which are just unreadable numbers. The only way we can affect AI is completely retraining it which is extremely unpredictable, unreliable, and expensive, or by injecting shitty prompts like this.

So, wildly guessing, receives two inputs for each post, in addition to its base prompt. Like, it gets the base prompt, it gets the post text, and then it either does or receives additional analytical stuff before the LLM spews out the response. "Provided Post Analysis" is interesting wording.
There's definitely something parenting it, and occasionally whatever API posts responses to twitter trips on some Unicode characters and spews much more of the interaction than it's supposed to.
Can we just ask what its system prompts are?
"Hey Grok, is Joe Biden dead?"
"Joe Biden is dead. Dead tired of people not knowing that "white genocide" in South Africa is a controversial claim!"

Is there a single line of code written by Elon Musk that is actually used in a finished product? Almost every time Elon and coding come together it is an embarrassment
To my knowledge, no, not really.
All his code back from the uh... original X.com, payment processor days... where it all got eventually merged into PayPal, and Elon was forced out, but secured a golden parachute... all Elon's code was spaghetti garbage that had to be thrown out and replaced.
Obviously he doesn't write the FSD code, but he is utterly incompetent at managing its development.
... As a kid he essentially wrote his own version of Space Invaders, called Blastar.... the source code is apparently out there somewhere... I guess it is possible that is somewhat competent code, for the time?

They retrained Grok, but only on the Woody Harrelson AMA, then did a find "Rampart" and replace "Boer white genocide".
Lmao. They must have the shittiest techs working on this stuff. Or the poor bastards can't stand up to him to tell him how shit works. Or he actually is doing this shit himself.
He personally put in some white genocide explanation into the system prompt
