More importantly than that the "Iran is close to having nukes!" thing is likely a lie:

Nobody should have nukes, but if AmeriKKKa has nukes then AmeriKKKa's enemies should have nukes to defend themselves.

I would trust Iran with nukes far more than AmeriKKKa or its client states. Only one country has ever nuked another country, and that's the USA. Meanwhile, Iran has been restrained (too restrained imo) in its military operations against the Zionazi entity. Iran didn't even seek revenge against Iraq for the chemical weapons attacks during the war in the 80s.

There's also Khamenei's fatwa against nuclear weapons: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ali_Khamenei%27s_fatwa_against_nuclear_weapons

I'm so confused. Is it because she's part of the US isolationist wing of the conservative party and doesn't want to enter another war? I keep forgetting these white supremacists are different from the war hungry neocon white supremacists.

Yeah, it is hard to recall but there is a reason the conservatives were banking on anti-war party rhetoric (despite Trump himself not being so) there has been a rise in the isolationist wing of the party in recent years that has been somewhat consistent in the, "Get US out of wars globally," value. I think we will see larger divisions in the Republican party in these values over the coming years until one of the groups inevitably wins out.

She has been very anti-Israel lately. Likely, just a mix of antisemitism and US isolationism in varying degrees since I refuse to believe she has a fully genuine good take.

Edit: Honestly, has MTG had a streak of antisemitism in actuality? Or could be one of those cases where bad domestic politics manage to create a bastardized version of decent foreign policy.

Honestly, has MTG had a streak of antisemitism in actuality?

yes. jewish space lasers and all that horseshit.

but she does have anti-war isolationist values to a degree. had similar takes of US fuck out of ukraine-russia

Okay cool, knew there was a reason I pegged her for antisemitism the first time I heard an anti-Israel take from her. I knew she was a conspiracy nut but don't think I've seen that particular argument from her or at least my recollection of it is missing. I wanted to edit though as I don't like unilaterally pegging someone for an -ism if I can't recall it at the time.

One thing to consider is the fact that being able to "sprint" towards a nuclear bomb is sort of the whole point behind the original Iran nuclear deal with the United States. There was limits put on their nuclear program where they could continue to pursue nuclear energy and related technologies, while placing tight controls and observation on their program so that if they decided to do the sprint, it would be detected.

Any nuclear program that a country engages in, is the foundation on which a quick sprint towards building a nuclear device could be built. It is just a side effect of pursuing nuclear energy.

The Iran hawks have seized upon this truism, in order to create a propaganda message that Iran is months away from a nuclear bomb.

So even with a nuclear deal, it will always be true that Iran could theoretically be only a short period of time away from a nuclear device.

There's a citations-needed on exactly this, it's episode 14 and it came out in 2017, which even further demonstrates how this is an evergreen lie.

I was just thinking about this. I wanna say Jon Stewart had a montage from between 1985 and 2015. It was around the time of the “cartoon bomb” UN presentation.
