There were two “Reigns of Terror,” if we would but remember it and consider it; the one wrought murder in hot passion, the other in heartless cold blood; the one lasted mere months, the other had lasted a thousand years; the one inflicted death upon ten thousand persons, the other upon a hundred millions; but our shudders are all for the “horrors” of the minor Terror, the momentary Terror, so to speak; whereas, what is the horror of swift death by the axe, compared with lifelong death from hunger, cold, insult, cruelty, and heart-break? What is swift death by lightning compared with death by slow fire at the stake? A city cemetery could contain the coffins filled by that brief Terror which we have all been so diligently taught to shiver at and mourn over; but all France could hardly contain the coffins filled by that older and real Terror—that unspeakably bitter and awful Terror which none of us has been taught to see in its vastness or pity as it deserves.

If you have evidence of Israeli crimes and atrocities that you wish to preserve, there is a thread here in which to do so.

Sources on the fighting in Palestine against Israel. In general, CW for footage of battles, explosions, dead people, and so on:

English-language Palestinian Marxist-Leninist twitter account.
English-language twitter account that collates news (and has automated posting when the person running it goes to sleep).
Arab-language twitter account with videos and images of fighting.
English-language (with some Arab retweets) Twitter account based in Lebanon.
English-language Palestinian Twitter account which reports on news from the Resistance Axis.

English-language PalestineResist telegram channel.

Various sources that are covering the Ukraine conflict are also covering the one in Palestine, like Rybar.

Examples of Ukrainian Nazis and fascists

Examples of racism/euro-centrism during the Russia-Ukraine conflict

Resources For Understanding The War

Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map. Their youtube channel has substantially diminished in quality but the map is still useful.

Moon of Alabama, which tends to have interesting analysis. Avoid the comment section.

Understanding War and the Saker: reactionary sources that have occasional insights on the war.

Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.

On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent and very good journalist reporting in the warzone on the separatists' side.

Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.

Telegram Channels

Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

Pro-Russian

https://t.me/aleksandr_skif ~ DPR's former Defense Minister and Colonel in the DPR's forces. Russian language.

https://t.me/Slavyangrad ~ A few different pro-Russian people gather frequent content for this channel (~100 posts per day), some socialist, but all socially reactionary. If you can only tolerate using one Russian telegram channel, I would recommend this one.

https://t.me/s/levigodman ~ Does daily update posts.

https://t.me/patricklancasternewstoday ~ Patrick Lancaster's telegram channel.

https://t.me/gonzowarr ~ A big Russian commentator.

https://t.me/rybar ~ One of, if not the, biggest Russian telegram channels focussing on the war out there. Actually quite balanced, maybe even pessimistic about Russia. Produces interesting and useful maps.

https://t.me/epoddubny ~ Russian language.

https://t.me/boris_rozhin ~ Russian language.

https://t.me/mod_russia_en ~ Russian Ministry of Defense. Does daily, if rather bland updates on the number of Ukrainians killed, etc. The figures appear to be approximately accurate; if you want, reduce all numbers by 25% as a 'propaganda tax', if you don't believe them. Does not cover everything, for obvious reasons, and virtually never details Russian losses.

https://t.me/UkraineHumanRightsAbuses ~ Pro-Russian, documents abuses that Ukraine commits.

Pro-Ukraine

Almost every Western media outlet.

https://discord.gg/projectowl ~ Pro-Ukrainian OSINT Discord.

https://t.me/ice_inii ~ Alleged Ukrainian account with a rather cynical take on the entire thing.

Last week's discussion post.

That old fascist fuck is back with some more fascism. When your war heros are advocating for genocide, you are clearly the baddies.

Locations of IDF air strike raids in the northern Gaza Strip, according to satellite images.

First time we've been able to see what they're focused on.

For folks out there who are concerned about using massive surveillance platforms and military contractors like Google to perform machine translation of sensitive and potentially "illegal" statements, consider LibreTranslate. It is a free software machine translation system you can run on your own machine. It does not require an Nvidia GPU like many other AI systems, nor does it send your requests to the internet for remote processing.

You can try it here, but if you want the benefit of privacy, you must install it on your own computer.

edit: fixed link

Israel is done for i think, they are too weak to fullfill the desires of their Hate on Gaza. But to fucking mental and done for to not try , or ragingly demand it from the IDF . Pretty sure the Moral really is rock bottom in the IDF , because most of them also understood that "they are the baddies" and also that they most probably gonna die when they enter Gaza. Taking Gaza might something that the "great Regional Power Israel" considered and planned , but its something that "small regional power Israel" can not afford to do or risk.

Edit: arnt the most fanatic jews / settlers spared from conscription or something ?

October 7th was not the first time that resistance fighters utilized gliders to fly over our occupied lands.

Today, we remember the Night of the Gliders operation carried out by the Syrian Arab martyr Khaled Aker and the Tunisian Arab martyr Milood bin Al-Najjah on behalf of the PFLP-GC on November 25th 1987.

Our heroes flew into an IOF base in occupied Palestine on hang gliders all the way from Syrian-controlled South Lebanon armed with AK-47s, silenced pistols, and hand grenades. Aker was captured and martyred. Al-Najjah swept in, killing six IOF soldiers and injuring eight more as he fired his AK at the usurpers without mercy and hurled grenades into IOF tents.

These martyrs were hailed as heroes, and the slogan "six to one" or "6:1" became popular among Palestinians mocking settlers in Gaza. Just two weeks later, the first intifada was declared from Gaza, and this heroic operation undoubtedly sparked it.

Victory to our resistance!
Glory to our falcons!
Glory to our martyrs!

Israeli airstrike leaves Palestinian refugee camp in ruins | AP News

Israeli warplanes pounded the Shati refugee camp in Gaza City early Thursday, reducing entire swaths of the crowded camp to ruins.

There's video at the link. It's eerie because there's no sound.

Israel cutting off vital infrastructure to Palestine is literally worse than Russia doing the same to Ukraine because they literally stated they were going to do it. I don't think Putin ever issued a statement that they were going to starve and terrorize Ukrainian civilians

Former Israeli defense official says bombardment of Gaza should continue until Hamas is 'ashes' | AP News

A former Israeli defense official told the Associated Press Thursday that Israel should continue bombarding Gaza for as long as militants remain in the territory, even if it incurs massive casualties to Israeli soldiers.

Yaakov Amidror, a retired General and senior fellow at JINSA, a Washington D.C.-based think tank, said that Israel would "bomb any attempt to build military capability in the in the Gaza Strip for the next hundred years," raising the specter of an unending military engagement in Gaza.

"We need to crush Hamas to ashes, no matter how many casualties," Amidror said. "Of course, we will give all means to our soldiers to defend themselves. but I don't think casualties are the main element in decision-making."

At least the people at the openly pro-war think tanks don't try to appear human. I'm just as creeped out when Joe Shmuck of the Yada Yada Institute for Peace uses euphemisms but is much of a monster when he says "The IDF will likely need to be aggressive in Gaza to neutralize the Hamas terrorist threats. It is an unfortunate necessity." He makes it seem like the IDF is a basketball team that uses sharp elbows.

Do the towns that Hamas has captured have access to water? Could Hamas be occupying the towns to retain a water supply?

At some point we need a way of collecting sources of disinformation and evidence to disprove it (as well as counters to the most common arguments). I'm sick of having to do the same work every time because another lib has a factually incorrect take.

There's so much smoke in the air tonight that when the bombs go off the whole sky flashes red. The bombing is 3-4km from the camera, I think, counting the delay between the flash and the sound.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0gX47baak0

God you can see the fireballs from km away. The bombs must be enormous.

The bombing is very frequent right now. A blast every few minutes, a big one. It wasn't like this last night or the night before. I don't know if that means anything, idk if the camera is even in the same part of Gaza. But the camera can see far more bombs falling tonight (in Gaza) than prior nights.

Believing that Hamas can do a genocide in Israel is in literal terms delusional or dishonest, a group thats at best funded in secret by countries already heavily dedicated to other causes and problems, is not going to be able to do a genocide against the country and people that is funded by literally the most powerful countries in the world, it just is not something that will happen, the US alone could probably send about a billion trillion planes and ships to evacuate the whole country, except the solution obviously will actually be for those planes and ships to completely destroy the whole people of palestine first instead.

It's like saying that Ukraine actually will do a pogrom in Moscow if they win the war with Russia, come on. The Viet Cong will drop bombs on Montgomery, Alabama, if they win the Vietnamese civil war.

It’s the same white settler anxiety that’s always existed. The untermensch savages are going to do to you what you did to them.

It’s Nazi ideology - the enemy will kill your precious white women and children and genocide you should you lose the war.

US eyes weapons stockpiles as concern grows about supporting both Ukraine and Israel’s wars

Concern is growing within the Pentagon over the potential need to stretch its increasingly scarce ammunition stockpiles to support Ukraine and Israel in two separate wars, according to multiple US defense officials.

At the moment Ukraine and Israel require different weapons: Ukraine wants massive amounts of artillery ammunition while Israel has requested precision guided aerial munitions and Iron Dome interceptors.

But if Israel launches a ground incursion into Gaza, the Israeli military will create a new and entirely unexpected demand for 155mm artillery ammunition and other weapons at a time when the US and its allies and partners have been stretched thin from more than 18 months of fighting in Ukraine.
