Anything over 60 is an outrage

Even 60 is high. I'd buy a lot more games day 1 if they were around $40.

Unless it's a physical Collector's Edition that comes with extra stuff like a physical statue or prop or whatever. Digital Collector's Editions are not real Collector's Editions.

Hmm… I think the $80 tag would've been easier to swallow if Nintendo didn't have a long anticonsumerist track record: from taking down emulators, sabotaging legally owned consoles, killing fan tournaments, nonexistent or notoriously bad game sales, an extremely strict exclusivity policy, and no regional pricing to speak of.

Either way, fuck'em, emulators all the way, suckers 🤘 Go play whack-a-mole on Github.

This. I'd be fine with the new price points if they weren't so antagonistic to their customers (myself included). Steam deck wins me over the switch 2. can play literally any previous game? Sign me up!
