In bad country, babies never taste milk from mother's because they are out bid by body builders in the free market.

lol, "bodybuilders" I'm so sure.

anyways, step on it with Similac + water mix. 9 parts formula, 1 part breast milk.

€30,000/mo straight cash for however long you can prove lactation.

[-] Awoo@hexbear.net 42 points 5 months ago

How tf would you even verify that what you've got is definitely human breastmilk and not some other shit lmao

[-] Infamousblt@hexbear.net 39 points 5 months ago

Was gonna say no reason she can't make 6000 by mixing it 50/50 with cow milk or some other milk

[-] MemesAreTheory@hexbear.net 21 points 5 months ago

I'm just going to make n+1 dollars by selling half goat and half cow milk. Gotta give a little bit of a 'different' flavor to it so they don't get too suspicious.

I will donate all profits to maoist insurgent groups. Put down your pitchforks vegans, this is ultimately revolutionary.

[-] mendiCAN@hexbear.net 19 points 5 months ago

i accidentally drank breast milk once and if you were gonna make a fake human milk you'd want something way more watered down. it was even thinner than skim iirc, but sweeter too.

1/10 hated it. even before i learned what i had done.

[-] alexei_1917@hexbear.net 11 points 5 months ago

I don't know whether this is a better or worse way to fund a revolution than Stalin's method of robbing banks.

[-] MLRL_Commie@hexbear.net 12 points 5 months ago
[-] alexei_1917@hexbear.net 5 points 5 months ago

I mean, it's less dangerous, but it's also really gross.

[-] Aradino@hexbear.net 18 points 5 months ago

Apparently human breast milk tastes terrible so probably like that

[-] bonedaddy@mander.xyz 29 points 5 months ago

Human breast milk tastes delicious. Like a subtly sweet almond milk with better consistency.

Source: am dad.

[-] tacosanonymous@mander.xyz 14 points 5 months ago

I also choose this man's wife.

[-] anarchoilluminati@hexbear.net 5 points 5 months ago

Yeah, I agree. All the breast milk I've tasted as an adult was deliciously sweet unlike any other milk.

And, no, I'm a perv but not for that necessarily, that was always coincidental but a happy coincidence.

[-] came_apart_at_Kmart@hexbear.net 23 points 5 months ago

human babies, well known for eagerly enjoying terrible tasting things.

[-] Aradino@hexbear.net 16 points 5 months ago

The creatures that love to shove handfuls of sand into their mouths aren't known for having a refined pallet

[-] came_apart_at_Kmart@hexbear.net 16 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

you're confusing taste sensitivity with experience and knowledge. little kids also grasp at broken glass and touch hot burners, but that doesn't mean they prefer those things. they are trying everything for novelty, which is why we don't neglect them because they would shovel spiders into their mouths and rub sand-covered-hands into their eyes.

but more to the point, infants have exceptional sensitivity to taste. it's why most baby food sort of bland compared to adult foods. newborn to 3 months is likely the most acute sensitivity to taste one will ever have, particularly sweet/sour with a strong preference for sweet, which is why breast milk is, in fact, slightly sweet with some variation based on mother's diet. not "terrible".

as we age, our sensitivity drops and our preferences shift.

At birth, babies have about 10,000 taste buds. (You'll have between 2,000 and 8,000 taste buds as an adult – they get replaced every few weeks. But as you age, some stop working or aren't replaced.)

How will my baby's sense of taste and taste buds develop?

Your baby's sense of taste is well developed at birth, but their reactions to different tastes changes as they grow.

Newborn to 3 months At this stage, your baby's sense of taste is very sensitive. In fact, as a baby they may have a wider distribution of taste buds in their mouth than you do as an adult.

My little sister once tried to eat her own poop (she was like a year old).

[-] Aradino@hexbear.net 14 points 5 months ago

My sister used to snack on dog biscuits when no one was looking

[-] Nakoichi@hexbear.net 15 points 5 months ago

You sure that was your sister and not your brother Shaggy?

Thesis: Taste varies by diet.

Antithesis: Some transwomen can lactate.

Synthesis: I need to start up one hell of a pump-and-dump operation that involves the phrases "caffeinated breast milk" and "notes of Monster Energy Absolute Zero Strawberry Dreams" sicko-fem

[-] Aradino@hexbear.net 16 points 5 months ago

Horrible thing to read but yeah that'd probably sell

[-] Owl@hexbear.net 10 points 5 months ago

pump-and-dump

breast pump (and dump)

[-] Awoo@hexbear.net 20 points 5 months ago

I'm sure you could find a way to make some other milk taste like shit and sell that to these idiots

[-] Rey_McSriff@hexbear.net 17 points 5 months ago

BreastMilk*, now fortified with Vitamin R!

[-] GalaxyBrain@hexbear.net 35 points 5 months ago

Is protein hard to come by now? It seems like something everyone is now really concerned about eating an absurd amount of now. I really wish people would stop treating their body like a character stat sheet. Mostly cause it's annoying.

[-] Owl@hexbear.net 29 points 5 months ago

The protein thing is always an excuse for something they wanted to do. Otherwise they'd all be eating seitan, which has a higher protein percentage than any meat.

[-] vovchik_ilich@hexbear.net 13 points 5 months ago

Dehydrating my seitan so that it technically has a higher protein content proportion

[-] GalaxyBrain@hexbear.net 12 points 5 months ago

That is the main reason im certain my protein intake is higher than 6 egg guy. Cause I eat sietan pretty often.

[-] corgiwithalaptop@hexbear.net 17 points 5 months ago

There's a finite amount, don'tcha know? Gotta get what you can!

[-] GalaxyBrain@hexbear.net 12 points 5 months ago

I work with a dude who eats 6 eggs a day! Like he's some kind of ovaraptor. I will admit, I have a super low maintenance body as far as appearance goes. Im mistsken for being 10 years younger and am skinny jacked. I carb up before work usually and just kinda burn that off and that's cause pasta or some kinda potato and veggie mush are what works for me on a time limit. Knowing some of this shit is part of my job as well so I looked into protein per gram on a few things and considering my seitan and broccoli intake im probably beat six eggs guy there too. But like...im not paying attention

[-] TranscendentalEmpire@lemmy.today 16 points 5 months ago

Honestly, if you are very active or are working out on a regular basis it can be difficult to get your recommended amount of protein according to your size. It's not as difficult as getting your recommended amount of fiber, but can be pretty difficult especially if you have diet restrictions.

I don't eat a lot of meat and I'm a fairly big and active dude. I think I'm supposed to get like 130-145g of protein a day, which I honestly can't do without protein supplements. I usually do a pea protein shake in the morning and after a workout and I still don't usually end up getting my recommended.

I think it matters more if you're active and especially older. If I didn't supplement my protein my recovery after workouts is pretty gnarly.

[-] GalaxyBrain@hexbear.net 15 points 5 months ago

Im vegan and work a very physical job, and because of said physical job I don't work out, I also walk everywhere and am generally on my feet at least 12 hours a day. I guess I also tend to eat relatively okay compared to most...I drink too much and smoke a pack a day so I kinda forget my diet is actually pretty decent.i just like rice and beans and veggies a lot anyway

[-] redchert@lemmygrad.ml 6 points 5 months ago

People are destroying their livers with the amount of protein that they are eating. Its an eating disorder clothed in the superficial appearance of "health".

Most of them arent even bodybuilders.

[-] godlessworm@hexbear.net 33 points 5 months ago

they could make 5x this selling breast milk to perverts instead

[-] Damarcusart@hexbear.net 32 points 5 months ago

Damn, all she needs is to become a Gamer and start selling her bathwater as well and creepy dudes will help make her millionaire.

[-] ufcwthrowaway@hexbear.net 24 points 5 months ago

Wait a minute something isnt adding up here

I looked up the macros and cow milk has three times as much protein in it as human milk

[-] redchert@lemmygrad.ml 13 points 5 months ago

Breastmilk is more important for gut flora and other microbial benefits (which babies lack), its not really that useful for adults. Which is kinda the evolutionary point.

[-] ufcwthrowaway@hexbear.net 7 points 5 months ago

Wait, so why have I been paying a subscription based clinic in LA to give me stool transplants when I've been getting the necessary gut diversity from my fetish this whole time? Waste of fucking money.

[-] redchert@lemmygrad.ml 3 points 5 months ago

Idk. Maybe a clinical study should test if thats an alternative treatment.

It also depends on if you didn't get scammed.

[-] comrade_pibb@hexbear.net 7 points 5 months ago

I make €3000 a month selling poop to bodybuilders

[-] WrongOnTheInternet@hexbear.net 10 points 5 months ago

Human milk is relatively very low in protein because human babies aren't building much muscle for the first six months of life.

[-] 9to5@hexbear.net 16 points 5 months ago

Get that bag queen

[-] queermunist@lemmy.ml 10 points 5 months ago

Is it vegan to buy breast milk, or is there no ethical milk consumption under capitalism?

[-] Nakoichi@hexbear.net 18 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

in this case since she is only doing this because it gets her more money than donating it to mothers who cannot lactate I am leaning toward no. I would say that her selling it is not unethical but buying it is.

[-] crazyminner@lemmy.ml 14 points 5 months ago

As long as the person Consents I guess. Technically, human meat is the only possible vegan meat.

[-] communism@lemmy.ml 3 points 5 months ago

Buying, probably not because economic coercion/exploitation is still coercion. In a communist society where exchange has been abolished, someone letting you drink their breast milk is probably vegan.
