In the opening of FF7 you are part of terrorist organization trying blow up parts of an energy company that is destroying the planet.
The entire game is basically going place to place and learning about how every single character was victimized by Shinra. Even the main antagonist Sephiroth is a victim of Shinra. I think many people gloss over the fact that while yes Sepriroth is the main antagonist, Shinra really is the true villain, but I digress.
Personally I don’t care for the remakes of FF7 because I feel like the tone is all off for a game that was originally bleak as fuck.
Yes, I'm not actually that big of a Final Fantasy fan myself. My best friend is and they have shown me a ton about it and I've grown fond of seven for it's generally leftist messaging that was stand-out compared to other games of the time. Plenty of messaging on poverty, class, war, exploitation and you're working with a gang of eco-anarchist terrorists waging war against the corporation that is quite literally killing the planet to harvest it's energy. FF9 is my favorite otherwise.
No, this is not in the game. The creator, leftistgamermemes, takes screenshots and inserts socialist/leftist quotes or their own quotes in place of retro games.
It's not explicitly fifteen hundred pop-up dialogue boxes of state & revolution but yea, pretty particular in it's viewpoint.
Pretty sweet, I've only played FFIX to completion 
but I wouldn't mind giving this a whirl.
