Studios have no choice but to cast Leto as the lead in another movie and give him millions of dollars.
Idk what kind of kompromat Jared Leto has on Hollywood producers that they keep casting him for shit even though he's been proven to be radioactive in every film he's been for the past like 10 years.
I mean, this reboot had Jared Leto in it, what did you guys expect?
And Mr. Beast!
I think is involved somewhere as well.
Pure USAan Cinema
Fucking what
He's in it
He looks dead inside while trying to hide that he just lost a gamble on a fart.
I always suspected Jared Leto of being a CIA asset. I don't follow celebrities or the latest movies, but I do remember watching an Academy Award years ago, Leto won, and during his acceptance speech he dedicates it to the people of Venezuela that are fighting for freedom or something like that. This was during the last big CIA attempt to overthrow Maduro, billionaire Richard Branson was even involved.
Probably better to assume he's just an idiot.
I've never watched a Tron movie and I'm not about to start
Nah you should def watch Legacy, it's def one of my favorite music videos.
Honestly all in favor of creating movie length music videos ala Legacy
Giving oodles of money to daft punk to make trippy, synth-forward music with an awesome background is something I fully support.
It's a shame the remaster of Interstella 5555 was just a half assed AI upscale.
The original is worth checking out as a piece of movie history since it was the first film to use CGI.
It was the first film to use that much CG. The first film to use CG technically is Vertigo, Westwood and Star Wars have CG for on screen computers. It was like, the Avatar of it's time.
Legacy is good and has the best soundtrack and doesn't have a dipshit for a lead actor.
At this point I'm assuming a bunch of casting directors are members of his cult
RLM said he's in the movie because he produced the movie, which is either a joke or just raises more questions like "who let that guy out of jail to produce a movie?"
Hell yes, this movie is going to kick so much ass.
As always a reminder: TRON movies are meant to be watched while baked.
it's morbin' time!
Truly, when will studios realize that Jared Leto's involvement is essentially poison to any screen project?
At least we get a free Nine Inch Nails album.
I'm convinced that studios are just putting Jared Leto in stuff that they know is gonna be a stinker, so they can get a fat tax write-off for the production.
Maybe they cast him because he's creepy like a robot person from Tron would be like.
i'm only watching a movie with jared leto in it on purpose if he dies during the production and then i'm walking out after the scene he dies in.
Someone call Alec Baldwin immediately
I love the mix of diegetic and non-diegetic requirements in this comment
It's Tronning time!
Oh no, this was a failure if marketing. We should let sony know to put it back in theaters and we will watch if this time
this is a real stupid way to treat a franchise. Tron Legacy actually did well and was released 28 years after the first one. They decided nahhh let's wait 15 fucking years to make another.
There is not enough hating here for his alleged paedophilia
Know what we need to do? Keep making soulless media for the sole purpose of making money. Eventually it'll work
he has the most dead sociopathic stare. Box office poison.
release the Snyder cut.
According to these numbers, he's way more successful when part of an ensemble cast or a supporting actors. He's be a lead in 7 movies and the domestic box office total is $122 mil. He's not a lead actor.

We had date night for our anniversary on Friday and saw it. Soundtrack was bangin, there was a slight hint of "fuck the MIC and fuck cybersurveillance" but not enough IMO. It was enjoyable enough though. IDK why I am supposed to hate Jared Leto although he wasn't remarkable in this film (none of the acting really was). The lead villain was a weaker lamer version of the Lex Luthor from the recent Superman. Action and special effects were fun and as a Tron fan I liked it well enough.
