Yes, she’s been at the ICE facility constantly for a while now. She was the woman where video was captured of an ICE agent picking her up and slamming her down on the ground.

Kat made a post on Bluesky once where she showed a tweet by a Republican who was asking people to "stop posting photos of [Kat] when they attack her because she's genuinely attractive and that makes the attack not land" or something along those lines. I wish I'd saved it. It was a solid self-burn.
That Republican was basically afraid that Kat would steal male GOP votes simply by looking good lol

And of Palestinian descent. Even if for really dubious reasons, humanizing Palestinians and extending any shred of sympathy is a no-go in certain circles.
To her opponents, appearance is basically the whole of her worth.
They understand in the current media environment that attention is power and attractive people get attention
I mean, it kinda does. The fact that she is young, attractive, and media savvy means that people will pay more attention to her (not saying that's good, just that it's how our society works). The more attention she gets, the more of a threat she is to the regime, which is why the they're trying to prosecute her for getting assaulted by ICE.
