Who knew that the vast majority of internet services depending upon one thing en masse was a bad idea.
Way too much of the internet depends on Cloudflare, companies should really diversify the bot protection game.
I feel like programmers have just gotten bad. Everything works worse than it used to even with better hardware.
This might be controversial, but personally I blame capitalism.
I got shitlisted by cloudflare because I had a browser tab misbehaving that was infinitely reloading twitter once for god knows how long before I realized it.
I was blocked from like 99% of the internet for like 2 weeks. I couldn't order food, I couldn't visit any goddamn website pretty much, anything that required "human verification" blocked me instantly. it was a fucking nightmare.
and there is NO ONE you can reach out to either. they simply do not offer any path to speak to someone or submit a ticket or anything. you're just insta-banned from the internet.
Another thing that should be nationalised, in this case by an international governing body though.
i almost paid for a game because i couldn't get on 1337x ๐
