Disproving that men have fragile ego's by making an entire wikipedia alternative just for men

[-] SoyViking@hexbear.net 34 points 2 days ago

What is a woke?

Woke is generally understood to involve supporting or believing in various notions that are widely accepted among social justice warriors.

Okay then, what is a SJW?

Social justice warriors (SJWs) are individuals that typically engage in long emotional rants on woke topic.

Only real men can follow this logic.

I will give a gold star to anyone who can guess which article this image is attached to

Man they make Marxism look cooler every time they try to insult it.

[-] alexei_1917@hexbear.net 30 points 2 days ago

Conservatives have been doing that ever since Marx's own time, lol. The Communist Manifesto itself lampshades that problem.

McCarthy's era is wild from the right perspective. Yes, "Soviet America" was an extremely uncreative anti communist propaganda trope more hokey than the original Red Dawn was. And it's still really bloody fun anyway and I unironically like at least some of it even now.

Have you ever cum so hard it comes out purple?

[-] LadyCajAsca@hexbear.net 27 points 2 days ago

I.. what? Is it like the article on Marxism or like Feminism but it's in the section of it's connection to Marxism?

Also I was confused because, seriously, the best representation for feminism is.. that's a certain pleasure device and flogging device formed into a communist symbol...?

This type of men are weird.

It’s the article for the Frankfurt school agony-shivering

[-] Damarcusart@hexbear.net 26 points 2 days ago

This type of men are weird.

They hate the idea of a woman enjoying herself because it means that she might not want to settle for a guy like them. And they hate women's rights and communism for the exact same reason.

The guy that runs the website created a page for himself:

https://wiki4men.com/wiki/Robert_Brockway

There’s a dedicated section where he lists how many Twitter followers he has in a little chart, lmao.

[-] BelieveRevolt@hexbear.net 7 points 2 days ago

My first thought was ”the guy who used to write for Cracked?”, but it's not the same guy.

[-] BelieveRevolt@hexbear.net 39 points 2 days ago

The TV formula so often seen in sitcoms of a stupid or inept (but often well meaning) man married to a super woman who can solve all of his problems for him by the end of the episode is so common it is almost a cliche.

It's always the sitcom dad, I'm begging you to come up with a second example.

[-] Dort_Owl@hexbear.net 34 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

It's funny because as a kid my AFAB ass was always like "Why is it in sitcoms that the Dad is always the main character and gets to be the funny one? Why is the wife always boring and having to do all the work and be the bad guy in most situations?"

[-] BelieveRevolt@hexbear.net 21 points 2 days ago

I remember Everybody Loves Raymond as a show where the wife was treated as a nagging buzzkill even though she had valid concerns. Haven't seen an episode in over 20 years, so I could be misremembering something.

[-] CommunistCuddlefish@hexbear.net 11 points 2 days ago

I watched Everybody Loves Raymond with my mom when I was young and she told me every single character in it is demonstrating some fatal character flaw, and these people are models of how not to be.

Raymond is an insecure people pleasure who bends to everyone's whims and lies pathologically because eh wants people to like him more then he wants to have a spine or principles.

Robert is a cop (and deeply insecure)

Marie is overbearing, manipulative, and doesn't respect anyone's boundaries.

Frank is a caustic asshole who can't let his guard down and just be kind yo the people he loves.

Debra is a pushover who puts up with these other assholes who make her miserable instead of just saying "y'all are pathetic, I'm getting a divorce from your entire family". Yes she complains and tries go be the voice of reason, and that's good, but she never succeeds because it would be impossible for her to fix these people

[-] wolfinthewoods@hexbear.net 7 points 2 days ago

All the women in that show were portrayed like that, it was that show's main theme.

[-] 30_to_50_Feral_PAWGs@hexbear.net 12 points 2 days ago

I'm not saying that Peg Bundy was a major factor in my gender transition, but I'm not not saying that either

[-] Johnny_Arson@hexbear.net 10 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

I'd let her peg me for sure.

Peg Bundy and Ripley from Aliens were my first tv crushes.

[-] glimmer_twin@hexbear.net 36 points 2 days ago

Ummm what about “goofy ass dad in an advert who can’t do laundry until the wife brings the special cleaning product only she knows how to buy”?

[-] UmmmCheckPlease@hexbear.net 8 points 2 days ago

I forget what the show was because it sucked, but I liked the premise, basically for the guy it was a sitcom where he’s doing whacky shenanigans and causing mayhem; and for his wife it’s a drama where she’s trying to find someone to murder him lol. Still love that premise. But yeah it was not good

[-] BelieveRevolt@hexbear.net 5 points 2 days ago

Yeah, I remember that show, it was called Kevin Can F**k Himself.

[-] UmmmCheckPlease@hexbear.net 5 points 2 days ago

That’s the one!
