Is our collective memory of this trope (man ties woman to train tracks) all based on one instance of it in one silent movie, or was it really as widespread a cliché as it seems to us nowadays? 🤔
“Usually it is done by two or more people.”
Listen, I don’t appreciate being called out like this.
When your kink is the trolley problem
Hmmm.... Is it AI or are they casually lifting 100 lbs with a bent elbow and no apparent lean?
His third arm is doing all the lifting. That's what makes it kinky
Not AI, I saw this picture years ago.
-
Elbow is clearly bent
-
Stance is wide
-
Lean cannot be appraised from this angle
I'd argue that he only needs to hold that position for seconds.
He's standing with his back fairly straight, and is supporting some of her weight on his thighs. The natural way to hold a weight like that is bent elbow, held close to the body.
Swolbraham Lincoln.
I mean, 100lb isn't all that much for a man in ok shape if proper form is used (and he's using proper form).
I'm not ripped by any means, and I know I can hold a minimum of 90lb one handed without leaning (the max my power blocks go to).
If you can do a pull-up, you can do this.

Do women want to be tied up by Abraham Lincoln?
I'd argue that it's more of a Snidely Whiplash sort of situation. One of them is going to be tied to the rails and railed.
I had to look that one up. I'm just curious, about how old are you? I mean no disrespect.
Dudley DoRight cartoons were popular in the mid-60s, and featured Dudley as the Royal Canadian Mounty, the beautiful sweet Nell, and villain Snidely Whiplash. Snidely was always kidnapping Nell and tying her the train tracks for some reason. It was pretty much the same plot in every episode.
They may have been from the same studio as Rocky And Bullwinkle.
It was a segment on the rocky and Bullwinkle show itself.
