not that this isn't absurd, but i think most table salt also includes anti-caking agents.

most common ones are inorganic, but apparently there are a lot of choices includ cellulose.

This was my suspicion too. Their page and Amazon (illegally) suggest salt is the only ingredient, but the Walmart listing show it contains Sodium ferrocyanide.

My own safety concerns aside, it is made purely of mined and petro-derived chemicals. No organic production method is used these days.

So aye, it seems the 'non-GMO' is in fact meaningless in this case.

blob-no-thoughts This is chemical-free sodium chloride, my friend.

[-] sewer_rat_420@hexbear.net 5 points 12 hours ago

Excuse me, was this salt pasture-raised?

[-] 30_to_50_Feral_PAWGs@hexbear.net 5 points 12 hours ago

Something something, obelisk. ...We also have a lower-sodium variety.

[-] ElChapoDeChapo@hexbear.net 13 points 17 hours ago

First step, bring the salt to life so it's an organism

[-] Nopeace@hexbear.net 10 points 16 hours ago
