You know those guitars that are, like, double guitars?

[-] MBZzZzZzZz@lemmy.world 18 points 1 year ago

He can drum if he wants to, he can leave his friends behind. Cause if his friends don't drum, and if they don't drum, well, they're no friends of his. Weeehell ...

[-] cute_astronaut@feddit.dk 5 points 1 year ago

Is it the safety drum?

[-] bionicjoey@lemmy.ca 14 points 1 year ago

Everyone knows octopods prefer the clarinet

[-] Sotuanduso@lemm.ee 7 points 1 year ago

[-] bionicjoey@lemmy.ca 6 points 1 year ago

[-] Sotuanduso@lemm.ee 5 points 1 year ago

Also you made my day by returning a similar insult.

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

It's true. I played bass clarinet in high school.

[-] WhiskyTangoFoxtrot@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

I thought it was a cello.

No deal. The octopus drums, the dolphins do backup vocals.

Make him play the triangle and just watch him not know what to do with his 6 other tentacles.

[-] helpImTrappedOnline@lemmy.world 12 points 1 year ago

Nah, you gotta put the triangle on a stand for extra confusion

  • Two arms holding and playing the triangle
  • Two arms folded in annoyance
  • Two arms standing as legs
  • Two arms secretly playing the violin behind his back
[-] TigrisMorte@kbin.social 9 points 1 year ago

The Octopus can play drums if it wants to and I'm not standing by while you crush its dreams!

[-] LemmysMum@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago

Octopus on vocals. 8 mic dynamic surround sound, fuck yeah.

[-] edgemaster72@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago

No other creature is capable of such gnarly polyrythms though! Not many undersea creatures can even hold the sticks. Some crustaceans could maybe play percussion but not the whole kit.

[-] gibmiser@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

A school of tiny fish that individually run into each drum for individual beats, machine-gun style

[-] clay_pidgin@sh.itjust.works 4 points 1 year ago

Good news! Voyager, a prog rock band from Australia has an underwater video with no octopus in sight.

[-] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 3 points 1 year ago

Octopus on Jazz Flute.

[-] Yamainwitch@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Obviously they are meant for the electric harp. Is that real, I don't know and I don't care because this is an undersea rock back and I'm here for it.

[-] moody@lemmings.world 1 points 1 year ago

Danny Carey will always play the drums.
