Hello friends!

Hope it's okay to post here, let me know if elsewhere is better. Your instance participated in the two previous edition of Lemmyvision, and sent the winning song for the first one (I still listen to The Northern Boys once in a while). I'm glad to announce the third is now live. I'm once again promoting the event and inviting you to participate! Can't wait to see what you have in store!

Don't hesitate to check the main post announcement for all the details here : https://feddit.uk/post/46825367

TL;DR

  • From right now and until May 3rd, discuss with your Lemmy instance or community about which song to send to the contest.
  • Submit the song in the Lemmyvision community by making a new thread.
  • On May 4th, voting will begin. You will rank your favourite songs in a form. Any song not submitted by this date will not be featured.
  • On May 11th, results of everyone’s favourite songs will be published.
  • You can use !lemmyvision@jlai.lu for any question, this will be the community for updates and results, make sure to subscribe if you’d like to stay in the loop.

Oh damn, is it time for the good April tradition. For our submission(s)* I think I'll say we do what we've done previously and say people should comment on this thread and the most upvoted response will be our submission.

* As per the rules, we're allowed to submit songs from different regional languages, so if anyone knows any Welsh, Gaelic or other minority language songs feel free to shout them out.

Hope it’s okay to post here, let me know if elsewhere is better.

I'll let the mods weigh in on that.

Worth pinning this for visibility, assuming the Casual UK mods are happy.
