I hate his fucking face so much.

[-] stylusmobilus@aussie.zone 4 points 22 hours ago

There’s a few of them I can’t stand looking at now, I just want to punch their faces.

Hatred is too kind.

[-] VieuxQueb@lemmy.ca 8 points 21 hours ago

Happy to confirm it but everyone by now should be anti Elon! For fucks sake !

[-] Etterra@discuss.online 5 points 22 hours ago

My granddaughter was from New Brunswick, so by the transitive principle Elon is still a huge piece of shit.

Doesn't Quebec's policy of high-speed internet for everyone include subsidized Starlink for people who don't have access to fiber? That's a lot of customers for Musk.

[-] cecilkorik@lemmy.ca 27 points 1 day ago

Guess it's time for me to start learning french.

[-] xc2215x@lemmy.world 17 points 1 day ago

Good for Quebec.

[-] CanIFishHere@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 day ago

LOL. Just no. Quebec is the number one province for purchasing Teslas.

Quebec is the province that buys the most Teslas in Canada, accounting for 43% of all new electric vehicle registrations in 2025. Other provinces with significant registrations include British Columbia and Ontario, representing 28% and 23% of the total registrations, respectively.

I was gonna say... there sure are a shit load of ugly teslas and cybertrucks driving around for a nation that hates Musk! Fuck him and everyone who supports him. ☠️

[-] matlag@sh.itjust.works 3 points 18 hours ago

Tesla sales in Quebec dropped by 85% in 2025 vs 2024, vs a drop of 67% for the whole Canada.

The whole EV market dropped by half. Tesla took the biggest hit by far.

I don't read french, but with those numbers it still puts Quebec as the top purchaser of Teslas in Canada.

[-] 4am@lemmy.zip 9 points 1 day ago

Don’t do that. Don’t make me agree with the French. /s

And yet we have one of the gov the more like him

[-] Jhex@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Had… kind of

Legault resigned in shame recently (10% approval)… hopefully we choose better next round

I guess it tracks this gov is an Elon wet dream and we hate it with passion

[-] carotte@lemmy.blahaj.zone 6 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

hopefully we choose better next round

there’s not much better on offer tho…

PQ is more of the same but ✨_souverainiste_✨

PLQ is more of the same but slightly less racist

PCQ is more of the same but much more racist

and QS exists, good for them

He resign as Head of the CAQ not as PM

[-] Jhex@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

I know, that's why I said "kind of"… elections are coming

[-] KindnessIsPunk@lemmy.ca 5 points 1 day ago

I don't keep up on recent Quebec politics do you mind filling me in a little?

[-] TribblesBestFriend@startrek.website 13 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Secularism law that ban « in the open » prayers and some accommodations in Colleges (CEGEP) and universities for people that want to pray

But let’s face it this is clearly targeted against the Muslim community. The last street prayer that happened in Quebec (that wasn’t in a manifestation against this law) was by Neo-Christian Nationalists protected by the police against the counter protesters

The PM call out the last co-porte-parole of Quebec Solidaire (Gabriel Nadois-Dubois) a woke communist in a parlementary session.

The next gov (Parti Quebecois) are only dominant because of their anti-woke and anti-trans rethoric

Yeah we’re a shit show

[-] stepan@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 day ago

So basically, neoliberal.

[-] observantTrapezium@lemmy.ca 9 points 1 day ago

I just love it that we complete for who is more anti-Musk now 😂

[-] merc@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 day ago

The data this comes from is over a year old, as is this article.

Not that Musk has done anything good lately, but time might have cooled the white hot anger.

But, wtf is / was up with Sasquatchewan when it comes to Musk. 31% had a positive view of him there. No other province even beats 20% support.

Oh, right. I just remembered his ultra racist, fascist, and anti-semetic maternal grandfather was from Sask, so they make excuses for him there.

[-] betanumerus@lemmy.ca -2 points 1 day ago

Don't blame Quebec, Elon's political stance is openly anti-Quebec.
