you know I'm surprised we haven't seen anybody try to "lone wolf" an FPOV attack. It's apparently very achievable with off the shelf parts (not that I would ever endorse such a thing ofc).
the hard thing with explosives is always making them go off when you want and not go off when you don't want, especially remotely.
janky drones use completing the circuit triggers (two wires intersecting on impact), rather than mildly complicated controlled stuff
“Terrorists hate the ufc but the cage fighters spin kick drones out of the air” is 100% something Kash has jerked off to.
whenever the headline is "FBI foils...", it's always suspect, especially with this administration
buys assassination plot
looks inside
entrapment
"network of plotters on signal" means that it's highly possible that some guys were half jokingly shooting the shit and then an FBI informant showed up with bomb materials.
You think Kash is sleeping on the job, he has excellent situational awareness and an almost 360 degree field of vision.
when he drinks his double vision allows him to double check everything he can see
It doubles his vision, going from 20/20 to 20/40 vision.
Like Popeye but instead of spinach its custom branded whiskey
just like me and vodka
I've lost count of these. How many assassination attempts did literally Hitler get?
counting or not counting time travelers?
from another write-up:
“Twenty-three people do not get to the point where they’re going to commit a mass terror incident in Washington, DC without some serious funding, without some serious coordination,” Vance said in a Fox News interview.
i mean, the fbi does have a big budget, so i guess that's technically true
The fbi instigating domestic terrorism acts to get some of the budget it lost on the DOGE cuts, and then some extra sounds really on character tbh.
sigh Another "alleged plot" on his life. Change the channel, this is another goddamn re-run
Fox News reported that five people had been taken into custody, according to unnamed US officials, with investigators identifying 23 people in a “potential network of plotters” who allegedly communicated in a Signal group chat.
we're gonna find out that the other 18 members of the chat were all undercover law enforcement and came up with the plans. Whitmer II Electric Boogaloo
Nah they won't admit that. They'll find random "ANTIFA SUPERSOLDIERS" and just throw them under the bus for this.
as always is the case
1 in 6th is likely a fed in any org@allegedly plan complex operation with dozens of people@make the plan complicated for tacticool reasons
Motherfucker has limitless luck!
Serious question - is the photo AI? My visual AI sense is very weak.

Edit
For a while I thought it might just be weird lighting. But it's weird that there's no photo credit. I found a very similar photo with this credit...
KENT NISHIMURA/AFP
But at other sites that have the photo in his comment - there's no photo credit.
The crazy saturation looks like an HDR photo. But the two women with a little girl (left of Trump) look straight out of a Kubrick film wtf
who takes their little kid to see some dude's orbital bones get pulverized
It seems like a weird thing to generate with AI. He was there and that was generally the vibe. It could be touched up or that one photographer didn't get a good enough shot so they generated edits.
I am going to try to get pins like that manufactured and start selling them to chuds.
I think it just has weird lighting.
See my edit.
news
Welcome to c/news! We aim to foster a book-club type environment for discussion and critical analysis of the news. Our policy objectives are:
-
To learn about and discuss meaningful news, analysis and perspectives from around the world, with a focus on news outside the Anglosphere and beyond what is normally seen in corporate media (e.g. anti-imperialist, anti-Zionist, Marxist, Indigenous, LGBTQ, people of colour).
-
To encourage community members to contribute commentary and for others to thoughtfully engage with this material.
-
To support healthy and good faith discussion as comrades, sharpening our analytical skills and helping one another better understand geopolitics.
We ask community members to appreciate the uncertainty inherent in critical analysis of current events, the need to constantly learn, and take part in the community with humility. None of us are the One True Leftist, not even you, the reader.
Newcomm and Newsmega Rules:
The Hexbear Code of Conduct and Terms of Service apply here.
-
Link titles: Please use informative link titles. Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed.
-
Content warnings: Posts on the newscomm and top-level replies on the newsmega should use content warnings appropriately. Please be thoughtful about wording and triggers when describing awful things in post titles.
-
Fake news: No fake news posts ever, including April 1st. Deliberate fake news posting is a bannable offense. If you mistakenly post fake news the mod team may ask you to delete/modify the post or we may delete it ourselves.
-
Link sources: All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. If you are citing a Twitter post as news, please include the Xcancel.com (or another Nitter instance) or at least strip out identifier information from the twitter link. There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance, such as Libredirect or archive them as you would any other reactionary source.
-
Archive sites: We highly encourage use of non-paywalled archive sites (i.e. archive.is, web.archive.org, ghostarchive.org) so that links are widely accessible to the community and so that reactionary sources don’t derive data/ad revenue from Hexbear users. If you see a link without an archive link, please archive it yourself and add it to the thread, ask the OP to fix it, or report to mods. Including text of articles in threads is welcome.
-
Low effort material: Avoid memes/jokes/shitposts in newscomm posts and top-level replies to the newsmega. This kind of content is OK in post replies and in newsmega sub-threads. We encourage the community to balance their contribution of low effort material with effort posts, links to real news/analysis, and meaningful engagement with material posted in the community.
-
American politics: Discussion and effort posts on the (potential) material impacts of American electoral politics is welcome, but the never-ending circus of American Politics© Brought to You by Mountain Dew™ is not welcome. This refers to polling, pundit reactions, electoral horse races, rumors of who might run, etc.
-
Electoralism: Please try to avoid struggle sessions about the value of voting/taking part in the electoral system in the West. c/electoralism is right over there.
-
AI Slop: Don't post AI generated content. Posts about AI race/chip wars/data centers are fine.
