Love seeing Sync again on my homescreen. Even subbed to Sync Ultra again to support the development. 15 bucks per year ain't that much for the usage I get out of it

Amazing news! So pleased to see the popup from the play store.

Already it is smooth to scroll, images open and close instantly, unlike the app I was using connect, they would lag by a second to open and close to the point i was not sure the phone registered my tap and i would do it again and reopen the images grrrr.

Can anyone else not submit a new post? I hit the FAB, which is set to submit, and a "coming soon" pops up and gradually fades out.

1. I just checked and not available for me here in California.

2. Why would i use this app vs what i currently have which is a pinned webpage? I dont have ads. I can easily navigate. Auto dark mode. I can search comments. What does this have that i dont currently?

Christ on a cracker! When Reddit went tits up greedy, Sync's developer worked his or her ASS off to bring us what we have now. They deserve compensation. Just because they made an ultra tier and made it a subscription, some idiots in this thread IMMEDIATELY start talking about them like they're no better than Spez.

FFS, you people all want your good things for free, don't you?

Either pay for something that you think has value, or shut the fuck up when the developer has to seek compensation some other way.

Installed, bought Ultra, imported my Sync for Reddit backup settings into Sync for Lemmy flawlessly. All is good in the world again. Thanks LJ!
