they make all their money from AWS i.e. the thing every website you go on uses. retail shopping and Alexa stuff breaks even and sometimes even loses money

much easier to boycott google. just install adblockers everywhere and use alternatives which literally every google product has one of

Well, but we gotta be strategic about it. Drying up the funding for the zionist project takes precedence now.

There’s no ethical consumption under capitalism, but that doesn’t mean you don’t try to minimize suffering as much as possible given one’s conditions.

You can buy most of the exact same stuff for 1/3-2/3 the price on AliExpress and similar websites. You'll need to wait 1-3 weeks to get your stuff but it's still a good way to get random crap.

That might even be worse because I don’t think AliExpress has a central warehouse like Amazon. So if you have a dozen items, they might come in 12 different packages throughout the week lol. Somehow, Temu manages to have a centralized location where they put everything in one package and ship it out to you.

They all work by putting a bunch of stuff on a plane or boat to the US, then using something like USPS for domestic delivery. They all differ slightly in when packaging is done but this is very minor compared to the impact of production itself, if the environment is what you're concerned about. Amazon has to maintain domestic warehouses and a rapid delivery service on top of bulk purchasing the exact same items you'd get at AliExpress or Temu - and pay and maintain American workers that have a much larger environmental impact.

OP was talking about avoiding Amazon because it logistically supports Israeli apartheid with surveillance contracts, so it's definitely much better in that regard. If you want to keep getting the same stuff, save money, and not pay Amazon, this is a significant improvement.
